Everyone has a desire to have a peaceful life with maximum positivity and minimum negativity around them. But many people end up with this desire in their hearts only, and never get to live their life as they wanted.
Here is a simple solution to this. If you want to change the atmosphere around you, you have to first change what’s inside you.
Here is a quote by Tamara Kulish.
If an egg is broken by an outside force, life ends. If it is broken by inside force, life begins. Great things always begin from inside.
Tamara Kulish
Developing good habits is the best investment you do in yourself. You can change your destiny just by changing your habits.
But quitting your bad habits and developing new ones can be intimidating. Oftentimes you feel that there are several things that you know you are doing wrong and they are not going to take you anywhere. But still, you keep on doing them. It’s not because you are weak or lazy. It is because you haven’t realized the power within yourself.
You have the power inside you and you can do anything you want by using it. You can make wonders if you are committed and determined towards your goal. Nothing is impossible.
Sure, at first you will feel terrible and want to give up when things are not going well and the circumstances are not in your favor. But mind it, Diamonds are made under pressure.
Listed below are 5 habits that you should develop if you want to level up your life and win every day.
1. Work out
Sitting in the office chair for long hours is a new pandemic in society. Therefore, working out is not a need anymore but a requirement.
Working out every day is the best way to start your morning routine. You don’t have to go to the gym necessarily for that, you can do it at your home. Develop a habit to work out for at least 30 minutes every day.
Start with 10-15 minutes of stretching exercises or maybe jogging. Regular exercising increases metabolism and reduces the risk of a heart attack. It also helps in reducing the stress level in your body. When you work out every day, you will observe that the quality of your sleep has also improved.
Sitting in one position for a long time may result in deforming the spinal S-curve. So when you are at work, find ways to perform physical activities like taking stairs instead of an elevator, taking a walk in the lobby after lunch, etc.
2. Meditation
Developing a habit of meditation is going to help you tremendously. When you feel lost or frustrated and don’t know how to deal with that, meditation is what’s going to help you to get out of the situation.
Some people meditate because the person in their office got great results because of that and now they want the same for them. They start meditation and get bored after 2 or 3 sittings and give up and say things like meditation doesn’t work for them.
Meditation is not a pill that you take and get the results quickly. It is a practice to train your brain. No great thing happens in one night, it takes time. Right?
What’s exercise is for the body, mediation is for the mind. It calms you, soothes you, and brings positive energy inside you.
When you develop the habit to meditate for about 15-20 minutes every day, without skipping; you will notice that the power of your brain has increased. It will help you get the right thoughts and ideas at the right time. It boosts the clarity in your mind.
3. Healthy and nutritious diet
Health is wealth. We have been listening to this quote since childhood. But how many of us actually mind it? Maybe a handful of people.
Working hard at your job is good but not at the cost of your health. Sometimes you get so tangled up in work and forget to eat on time which can lead to various gastric disorders and acidity.
Having the right meal at the right time is very crucial and having a proper and balanced diet is important as well. Make sure to have a proper diet including vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, and other essential nutrients. Because when you eat healthily, you perform healthily.
Did you know? The food you eat has a direct connection with your brain. The type of food you eat affects your mind and further affects your body.
So, It’s very important to know what you are putting into your stomach because it makes a huge impact on the way you behave and react to something or somebody.

4. Practice gratitude every day
The world is full of competition today, which actually provokes jealousy, hatred, and negativity towards others. This affects your mental health badly and raises your stress level too.
When you see someone in your field doing better than you, you envy them; sometimes you even curse them, which is not a sensible thing to do as a human.
In a world like this, being grateful is what everyone should develop in themselves to make this world a better place to live, not only for others but for themselves too.
Being grateful toward others improves the quality of your relationship with them and most importantly the relationship you have with yourself. It’s not about doing right or wrong, good or bad; it’s about doing something with the right and pure intentions in your heart. There is a hidden blessing in every great thing you do with a good heart.
Help others without being mean and expecting anything in exchange. Helping others and being grateful gives you calmness in your mind, it promotes the positivity inside you.
According to the law of nature, every action has a reaction. Similarly, when you are grateful to others, the same will come back to you. You should give more to get more.

5. Reading books
There is no wonder why books have been a great friend of humans for a very long time. Books are an excellent source to increase your knowledge. They teach you, inspire you, motivate you, and educate you.
Developing a habit of reading books will be very beneficial for you if you want to level up your life. It can save you many years of experiments, mistakes, and trials and errors; as you can learn from someone else’s. There are amazing books by amazing authors who have shared their personal experiences, mistakes they have made in their lifetime, and the lessons they have learned. And isn’t it amazing that you can get them, right in your hand?
There are books on every topic you can name: health, wealth, success, career, money, self-help, communication, public speaking, writing, talking, technology, computer, software, etc. The list doesn’t end, anyway. You can learn anything you have an interest in, you just have to find a good book.
Many people get books because they have seen their friends do so, but they can’t go further beyond page 13 and scratches their heads. This is not how it works, you need to have curiosity inside you. Read the books on topics that you have an interest in.
Choose a book that you want to read and not because someone has gifted it to you. When you read the books and explore the topics you want to know about, you will find yourself turning pages after pages and later books after books.
This is how you develop a habit of reading books. Just find out what makes you curious.
