“Inspiration”. The word itself has its own vibe. Don’t you feel it? 

Maybe that’s because you don’t have something that can inspire and motivate you enough to do the right thing(s). But you know what, inspiration is not something that you can get or take in exchange for something. 

Inspiration is something that comes from inside of your inner soul. When you are inspired by something, you will feel it at the bottom of your heart, in your mind, in your body. You get filled with the energy and the spirit to do something that you are meant to be doing. 

But, life happens, and it’s obvious that you lose the inspiration impulse and don’t feel like doing anything. It’s okay, it’s not the end of the world. 

People often say motivation doesn’t last. Neither does bathing—that’s why we recommend it daily.

You just need to refill, it’s simple. And here are 6 ways you can get the inspiration back to keep going.

1. Read more and more books

There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.

Every successful person on this planet is a great reader. In fact, Warren Buffett spends 80% of his day reading books. 

Books are a great source of inspiration. They are like gold mines. They carry a generous amount of treasure inside them. They teach, motivate, inspire, encourage us to do the right things.

2. Watch your idols

Words are so POWERFUL and they make a tremendous impact on your life. When you are lost and looking for something that can shake you up and inspires you from the inside out, listening to your idols and mentors can do wonders for you.

When you hear them saying what you want to listen to, there will be an instant change in your energy. It will give you the power and the push you need to take action. It shifts your mindset and energy super quickly.

3. Make Connections

Meeting new people gives you a fresh vision to look around things. When you meet new people, you chat, share ideas and thoughts; and the conversation between you two(or more) gives you a different way to think and look. 

Meeting people who are in the same industry as yours and have been in there for more years than you do, is the best; learn from their experience, their mistakes, get the tips and advice to improve yourself and your work. 

Connecting does not necessarily mean only to people, you should also travel(if you can) to new places to get the stress and anxiety out of your mind and body. When you are stress-free, you will see a lot of opportunities around you to work with.

4. Make an idea bank

The best ideas come from the most random places like on the evening walk with your dog, while talking on the phone, scrolling news feeds, doing household chores, it can be anywhere. So, making an idea bank is a great way to secure them before they skip out of your head.

Idea bank is nothing but a collection of ideas that come to your mind and also other people’s ideas/work that you find inspiring; and that can be anything like a quote, an Instagram or Facebook post, an image, an article, or maybe an ad. Categorize them according to your niche and business tasks. 

Whenever an idea hits your mind, write it down somewhere and put it into your idea bank, so you can go check it out later and work on it. Idea bank is a great tool that every person must have to improve the status of their work.

5. Listen to music

Music soothes you. It relaxes you. Studies have shown that when a person listens to music, there is a chemical called Oxytocin released in the body. Oxytocin is a hormone responsible for a positive and happy feeling.

Music reduces stress. It also evokes emotions. And if you don’t know, emotions and motivation are interrelated. How? Both emotion and motivation have the same Latin roots which mean “to move”.

When you are stress-free, it’s easier to find something inspiring. Listen to music that inspires you to do something you meant to be doing. Try new and different genres of music to get new visions and ideas.

6. Create an inspiring atmosphere

Everything in this universe has energy; whether it’s living or non-living. If you don’t believe it, then give it a try.

Take a piece of paper, crumble it and throw it somewhere randomly in your room. After some time, you will notice a change in the atmosphere around you. Yeah…that small non-living, paper ball is transmitting its energy. This energy is now going to affect you and in most cases, negatively. That’s why they say, you should keep your surroundings clean because it affects the atmosphere around you. 

Hence, it makes a huge impact on you and ultimately on your work. It affects your mood, energy, and soul. So, creating an atmosphere that inspires you to keep working is the best practice when you are feeling lost.

You can create an atmosphere that inspires you by 

  • Keep the stuff that is related to your work near you, 
  • Keep water by your side, to stay hydrated,
  • Play some music in the background that you motives you, 
  • Make sure your workplace is not too comfortable.

Since everyone is different. So, these tips may vary from person to person. But they work for most people.

When it comes to accomplishing your dreams and goals, feeling lost and unable to find a way to make a decision is so common. You keep searching on Google, YouTube, and other platforms but are unable to find a clear path to take. 

The data you collect from various sources get all mixed up in your brain and make you feel stuck inside your head. It feels like several people are sitting inside your brain and everyone is shouting their theories and you don’t get to know to whom to listen. You feel difficulty in seeing things clearly and making decisions. 

Decision-making is a critical task to do. One wrong decision can put you in trouble. A confused mind can’t make an impactful decision. So, it becomes vital to eliminate the confusion and make your mind clear. 

Here are a few things you should do to prepare yourself before we dive into the tips and tricks that will help you to clear the fog inside your brain.

It takes courage to accept where you lack. Be happy for yourself as at least you know that you need to improve something in your life, where many people don’t have an idea about themselves. So, CHEERS for yourself!

– Be positive and patient

I want you to say it with me – Everything is Possible. Say it as loud as you can. 

Everything is possible, providing you make the desired effort to make it possible. So, be positive in every situation. Know it, you are gonna find some way to do what you want to do. Just be positive, patient, and believe in yourself. 

– Take a deep breath and calm down

Tell me one thing, when you are confused and you still keep on thinking about it. Does it take you anywhere? I guess the answer is a clear NO. So, why are you doing this? 

Stop it right now.

Take a deep breath and calm yourself down. Just chill and relax for a moment. Give yourself some time to think properly and work on it.

Getting stuck somewhere is a common thing, it usually happens to everyone. But it is necessary to make efforts to improve it if you want success for a particular goal. 

Here are some exercises you need to do that will end your confusion and help you keep moving ahead. 

Pro tip: Make a habit of doing them regularly. It will help you in the long run. 

1. Write it Down

When you are confused and are not getting anywhere, the best way to get on track is to WRITE IT DOWN.

Write everything that’s in your mind, good or bad it doesn’t matter. Take a piece of paper or do it on google docs or make notes on your mobile phone, just start writing. Here, I’ve simplified it into some steps to make it easier for you to understand. 

STEP 1 – Write everything that’s in your mind.

STEP 2 – Categorize the things on a short-term and long-term basis.

STEP 3 – Now, for a minute forget about long-term goals and just focus on the short-term goals. 

STEP 4 – Categorize short-term goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (you can further categorize them into 3, 4, or 6-month basis where you can put your long-term goals).

STEP 5 – Categorize daily items into a to-do list, things you want to learn, things you have to search for, etc. 

STEP 6 – Finally don’t forget to mark things that are done and take them off of your list(it gives you so much satisfaction to cut them down).

Doing this small exercise once every week takes the stress away and helps you focus on the things that you need to do. This practice will clear the confusion inside your mind and help you grow.

2. Do one thing at a time

When your mind is in confusion, don’t make it more confused by trying to do everything simultaneously. Rather, do them one by one. Focus on one thing at one time, complete it, and then move to another. Eliminate all the other extra tasks you have in your mind while working on the current one.

Try to complete a particular task from start to finish in one sitting, rather than going and coming, back and forth to complete the same task. 

Don’t give it several sittings to complete a single task. Commit yourself – ‘I’m not going to think about any other stuff without completing this one.’ 

This practice puts an end to your confusion and makes your mind clear. It also helps you with your productivity and eliminates procrastination. 

3. Long-Term Vision

A long-term vision is a crucial thing to have if you want to grow in life. One must have long-term goals to grow their business and become successful. 

But don’t let them haunt you every time you sit at work. Keep them at the back of your mind. Consider them once in a while, maybe quarterly or after every 6 months. 

The best way to do this is to set a goal for a year and then divide the goal into a 3 or 4 months basis, say A for the first 3 months, B for the next, and so on. Now for the first 3 months just focus on A and nothing else. 

Track your performance after every 3-4 months to know what’s working and what’s not and optimize accordingly. 

4. Take small steps

Don’t aim for a big goal to be accomplished in a given period of time. It never happens; as bigger goals are harder to work on. It takes more time to complete them. Also, you will get more confused about what to do first and next. This will demotivate you and you won’t be able to decide anything and end up doing nothing.

In the same case scenario, it is better to break a big goal into small tasks. Small ones are easy to achieve and you can accomplish them faster. Also, you feel satisfied at their completion which gives you the motivation to go to the next step with a positive attitude in your mind.

When the goal is smaller, you are more likely to do it well as you don’t have the pressure on your mind to complete several items on your list.

5. Being consistent

Achieving a particular goal is easier when you are consistent. When you show consistency towards something, you are more likely to achieve that goal whether it’s for your business, life, relationship, health, or anything else. 

It’s hard to develop a habit of consistency at the start but if you become successful in doing so, it’ll be beneficial for you in the long run.

When you are consistent, you tend to show up every day to achieve a particular goal. And when you take action you get to know what’s working and what’s not working. It gives your mind a clear vision of what to do next and whatnot. 

By developing the habit of consistency, your brain gets used to it and will help you make decisions faster than before. And if you are someone who thinks long term, then you’re going to love this, as this will help you in the long run, become successful. 

6. Stop wasting your energy 

When you are in confusion, thinking about it round and round is not going to serve you. It’s better to stop thinking about them. Sometimes, things are as they are and you can’t do much about them.

So, stop wasting your time and energy on the things that you cannot do anything about. It’s better to just ignore and delete them from your mind. It will relax your mind and make you stress-free.

7. Meditate

A confused mind is a sign of a tired mind. When you are in confusion, that means your mind needs a break, because it doesn’t have any power left to see clearly anymore. So, it’s time to just stop and give yourself and your mind a break. 

Mediation is a perfect way to give the rest and break your mind needs. Make a habit of meditating every day for about 15-20 minutes at the minimum. 

When you practice meditation regularly, it will not only help you clear your mind but also decrease your stress level. It will give you a clear vision to focus on the things that are important to you and increase productivity. 

Conclusion

Confusion creates diffusion and you obviously don’t want that. So, try to keep your mind as clear as possible.

The exercises mentioned above will help you brush the dust off of your mind and help you see and think clearly. Having a clear vision is vital if you have a particular goal to achieve. A Blurry vision is harmful to your growth. It will take you nowhere; instead, you keep on revolving around one thing.

If you are in your 20s then this post is for you. In this post, I’ll tell you what are the habits that you should develop in your 20s to grow in life. They might sound like old-school traditional habits to some of you, but they will promote your personal and ultimately your financial growth in the long run.

Though, there is no right time and age to develop a good habit. But the habits that you develop at an early age are more likely to stick with you for the rest of your life. Several studies have proved that – It’s harder to change as you age.

Here are 7 Habits you need to develop in your 20s to grow and get success in life.

1. Time Management

When you are in your 20s, you are fortunately luckier than everyone who isn’t in theirs. Do you know why? 

Because you have something most precious asset called Time. You have the time freedom in your 20s. You can explore different fields and industries before choosing the right one for you.

But having time freedom doesn’t mean you can afford to waste it. You can never afford to waste any of your time. You can get almost everything again in life – job, money, friends, relationships but Time, no. Time is something once gone, it’s gone. Needless to mention; it would never come back again. If you want to grow & get success in life, time management is the most crucial skill you need to develop. Remember, these years won’t come back again when you have plenty of time. So, utilize it wisely.

2. Exercise Daily

Develop a habit to work out at least 15-20 minutes per day. Exercise is a MUST today, as most people have 8-10 hrs sitting jobs on the computer which makes a very bad impact on the body posture. You cannot help it when it comes to your job but can develop and learn ways for doing physical activities. 

It is too obvious to say that exercise helps boost your metabolism and reduce stress levels in your body. It also helps maintain blood pressure levels. Regular exercise improves the quality of your sleep and improves mental health. It also reduces the risk of heart attacks. 

At work sitting on a chair in one position for long hours can deform your spinal curve. You can increase your physical activities at your workplace by taking stairs instead of using the elevator, taking long walks in the lobby even when not in need, try not to sit in one position for long hours, etc.

3. Take a Healthy & Nutritious Diet

Exercising is not just enough when it comes to your health. You should also be taking care of what food you eat. Most people don’t take their health seriously when they are young and suffer from health problems in their later ages. Make sure you don’t make that mistake. Take proper care of what you are putting into your body.

Develop good and healthy eating habits to decrease the chances of health issues at later ages. Add more green vegetables and fruits to your diet as they are full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber and are low in calories. Eat whole-grain food with high fiber. Drink more and more water to get the toxins out of your body.

Avoid junk food or at least reduce your intake. Habits like smoking and drinking are a big NO. You can’t grow with a body filled with diseases. So, never take your health for granted. I repeat, Never.

Investment is making or creating assets for the future with the hope that your money will grow with time. There are different types of investments that you can invest your money in like Stocks, Bonds, Mutual funds, Real Estate, and more.

Learn and read properly about investing before actually investing your money. Because it’s your money, you can’t afford to be careless with it.

5. Create Passive Income Sources

There are 2 types of income sources a person has-

 1. Active Income Source

 2. Passive Income Source

Active income source is what takes your time and energy to be done. It takes you to be physically present and working for it as your day job, you have to spend 8-10 hrs to get paid.

On the other hand, a passive income source doesn’t actually need physical labor to earn money. Obviously, at the start, you have to give your time to develop it to some extent and after that, you don’t have to worry about working on it (surely you have to track the records and upgrade accordingly). 

Here are some ways of passive income sources 

  • Affiliate marketing
  • Create a digital product like an e-course, e-book, printables, etc.
  • Sell stock images
  • Rent your stuff
  • Airbnb
  • Print-on-demand service
  • Invest in Real Estate

6. Reading books

There is no friend as loyal as a book.

Reading is not a choice, it’s a MUST.

There are some brilliant brilliant authors who have written books that are filled with information, motivation, inspiration, and whatnot. No doubt why they are the best selling ones. Learn from their experience and practices that they have spent their lives for. 

You are not dealing with the problems that no one has ever dealt with before. You are here; in 2022 and there are hundreds of thousands of years passed before you were even born on this planet. There were people before you who have written gems on the paper about every problem a human can face. So, go grab a book to learn how to deal with yours.

7. The Art of Making Choices

Some people spend the golden years of their lives – their 20s, enjoying & chilling with friends. They are always having fun at nightclubs & parties and say they are celebrating their lives. If you are someone who does the same, then I would say – Congratulations, for making a choice that won’t take you very far in life. 

But if you are not which I believe you are not (as you are searching for the habits to develop in your 20s) then I would again say – congratulations, you are far far ahead of people like them. You have made a great choice.  

No matter what your situation is, you are always making a choice. The choice between 

  • Going to parties and having fun OR staying home, burning midnight oil & working for your goals
  • Watching web series on Netflix OR Reading a book
  • Scrolling social media OR Listening to podcasts
  • Watching cat videos OR Watching TED Talks 
  • Procrastinating OR Upgrading your skillset

The choice is yours – only yours. The choices are what makes you differ from others, what makes you stand out from the crowd, what makes you accomplish your goals.

Conclusion

When you are in your 20s, you are just as curious as a cat. You want to explore more and more things in life, which you should. It’s time for a new chapter in your life to begin. You get to meet different people with good and bad intentions. People who teach you Fab and Crap. 

But it’s you, only you who gets to decide who you want to keep and be in your life. Similar is the case with your habits. There are plenty of people who tell you what you should be doing with your life, and that’s insane. No one can tell you what you should do with your life. It’s only you who gets to decide what’s good and what’s bad for you. Beware of the bad advice and stick to the good ones.

How to overcome negativity to live to the fullest

Want to overcome negativity? This post is exactly about what you are looking for.

But before that, I want to tell you a story about my friend Sarah. She is really a nice person but when it comes to being a pessimist and an overthinker, no one can defeat her. One day, she was telling me about how stupid she can be, and here’s how it starts.

It started around 12:18 pm. On a normal day at the office, she was working on her presentation. It wasn’t the time for the lunch break yet, but she started to feel hungry already. A picture of a fried and crispy chicken sandwich came to her mind and now she was craving to have it. She was daydreaming about preparing a sandwich for herself in her kitchen. And suddenly, she looked up at the window and saw that it had been left open. She woke up immediately from her dream and started to think about whether it was true or not. 

She was not sure about it yet. But still, she was thinking negative things like a robber might be waiting outside her home for an opportunity like this. And what if he manages to get into her home? just like in the movie she saw two days ago. She was helpless and couldn’t do anything, instead of thinking about the whole situation over and over again. So guess what she did? She continued to think about it.

!!! ALERT !!!!!!!!!! RED ALERT !!!!!!!!!! WARNING !!!

She was hearing these sounds in her mind. Her heart was beating at the speed of a bullet train. She was all depressed and confused. She self-doubted herself and was saying

“Is it really true? I’ve closed it. Maybe or maybe not”. 

Suddenly she got the idea to call her neighbor, Mrs.Green, to check for the window. So, she did it and found out that the window was perfectly closed. And after finding that everything is OK, she was feeling stupid on her own that she made a thought into a completely useless issue and wasted her time and energy.

Does this happen to you too? Do you too feel the same as Sarah did, when something bad happens to you? Does your mind push you to search for the negative in every situation?

It’s only you, who get to choose how to react to something, Good or Bad. So why not, do the right thing. In the post ahead, I’ve mentioned 5 tricks to play with your mind and body to overcome negativity and negative thoughts. It might take some time to develop them at the start. But with time, you get used to it.

Shift your thoughts to overcome negativity

When someone asks you to think about a dog, what you‘re gonna do??? You start to think about a dog. Quite simple. Right?  But what if that same person asks you not to think about a dog, then what are you gonna do? Are you still gonna think about that dog you were thinking of? Surprised? You might say nooo…, I’m not gonna do that. But you do…unconsciously.

This is how the human brain works. It’s the nature of your brain, it keeps on adding and multiplying the stuff you put into it. The brain doesn’t know subtraction and division. This is the reason why you end up thinking the same thing over and over again, it doesn’t matter how much you hate it. In this scenario, what you are doing is, giving your brain negative thoughts to multiply it X times. 

So, don’t try to avoid them. Instead, switch your thoughts to positive. Replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. Change the inputs you are giving to your brain to get amazing outputs. Give your brain something positive to work with. Otherwise, it will pick the most recent activity and start to work with it(which is the negativity, in this case). It’s like playing a song track in a loop on your mobile phone. Change it or it’ll keep playing the same track over and over and over again.

Change your physical state

The physical state of your body makes a huge impact on your mental state. Both these states are interrelated. Yeah… It’s scientifically proven.

You might have noticed how your body reacts and responds, when you are depressed or sad or when something’s bothering you. There is a heaviness in your stomach; your shoulders, and your back slouch. You feel congested in your space, you might not be able to breathe properly sometimes. And unlike that, when you are happy. You feel energized, and joyful and you feel so light that you’d just fly in the sky like a bird. You are in ready-to-go mode and jumping all around.

This is how your body responds to 2 very different emotions. By changing the physical state, you can change your mental state too. 

Whenever you feel negative, change your physical state (if you can). Drink some water. Do some stretching exercises. Try Jumping 5-10 times (or more if you can). Take a deep breath and you are good to go. By doing this, you have given an indication to your brain that, Buddy…everything is fine, everything is good, no need to worry.

Focus on what’s important

When your brain is filled with negativity; it’s gonna suck out all the positivity inside you, like a parasite. You’ll feel stressed out, exhausted, depressed and whatnot. Your brain starts to find negative things in everything and every situation, no matter what. 

Take a deep breath and focus on the things that are important and worth doing. Stop wasting your time and energy on useless things that don’t matter. Your time is the most precious asset you have, you cannot afford to waste it on some stupid thought in your mind. 

Your thoughts are tools that can make and break you. So, choose wisely what thoughts you are gonna have, that gonna serve you in a good way. And if they don’t serve out, leave them right away.

It’s not the worst

The world is full of people who barely have food to eat and a roof on their heads. You are so blessed that you are not among them. You have everything to lead a comfortable life. 

Your circumstances might not be very good at the moment, but it’s not the worst. You might be saying that “You don’t know what’s going on in my life”. Surely, I don’t know what’s going on in your life but I want you to know this, 

You are always in a better state than someone somewhere on this planet till you have food in your refrigerator, a place to live called Home. You also have people in your life who loves you. 

So, Be patient, don’t worry about it too much. Nothing is permanent in this world, and your problems are too. Stop overthinking about it, give it a break. Everything will be fine. 

Be grateful

Whenever you feel negativity around yourself, think about the things you are grateful for – your parents who love you to the infinity, your lovely kids, your partner who gets you like no one else does, and most importantly be grateful for this beautiful life that God has gifted to you.

No problem is permanent. It’s the beauty of life, that it never stops. Even if you are going through hell, it’s gonna end someday. 

So instead of thinking about the crap; be grateful and count the blessings you have in your life. Make a habit of writing a journal. Write down all the things you are grateful for. It will help and motivate you to keep going, even in the worst situation.

Conclusion

The mind and body have a purpose. They are for you; to serve you. Your mind is in your control. And your body is in your mind’s. As I’ve written earlier too, your mind and body, are interrelated. There is no rocket science in it, everyone knows it. But think about it. If you know it, It’s just you who is stopping you from executing it. Learn how to trick your brain to get the most out of it and you are good to go. Whatever you want in your life, you can get it. YOU HAVE THE POWER.

If you want to learn a new language then practice it daily. Even if you had a very busy day try to learn at least one single word or phrase to keep it active in your subconscious mind. If you want to learn a skill, then practice it daily. Do not miss even a single day.

When you are consistent towards whatever your goal in your life is, then you are gonna see yourself growing. And it’s human psychology when you see results for good then you try to take it to a higher level of success. So it’s quite simple.

Plan your day in advance so that you can manage your time properly. If you want to learn something new that’s different from your daily regime, then try to manage your time for that. Make some small sacrifices if you can. You can always make time for the things you love and want to do.

Everyone has only 24 hours in a day. And it’s up to you how you use those 24 hours to be productive and eventually to become successful. I know you have a lot of things happening in your life. Many of you have multiple jobs and shifts to do. But you gotta find a way how you’re gonna manage your time to get what you want. 

If you want to be successful in the long run then you have to sacrifice small pleasure and treat you give to yourself. You can avoid watching Netflix and invest that time in reading a book. On your way to work, you can watch educational videos or courses instead of watching movies. Even when you are doing dishes or maybe driving you can listen to podcasts or book summaries. If someone wants to have a conversation with you, try to make it as brief and precise as it can be. So it doesn’t cost you much.

Time is the most valuable asset you have in the whole world. You can never regain it, what’s gone is gone. So try to steal every minute of your day and use it to make yourself productive. Don’t waste even a single minute.

3. Keep Measuring your progress

When you are learning something new, measuring your progress is a must-do thing. It will help you know where you are going. Are you doing it correctly and going in the right direction or do you need to make some changes?

Measuring your progress at regular intervals leads to increasing your potential growth towards your goal. You can identify your mistakes and can make changes on time(before it’s too late).

For example, if you are learning how to write (Professional Writing). Now you can measure your progress by making someone read what you have written so far. This way you are gonna know what the expectations of a reader are. You’re gonna know what areas you have to work on etc. Don’t be afraid of the critics as they help you to do better and get better at your work.

To get things done correctly you should measure your progress regularly. Do it after every 3-4 months or as it demands.

4. The 3 Ds

Determination, Dedication, and Discipline are the 3 Ds that you should have if you have set a goal to learn something.

These 3Ds are very important when it comes to learning something new because they are going to help you when time is rough and you won’t feel like doing it. Determination, dedication, and discipline help you to keep going, and keep the ball rolling. 

It’s a fact that when you are totally into doing something, the universe is going to make that very thing happen for you.

5. Think, Rethink

How you see yourself makes a huge impact on your personality and what you gonna be in your life ahead. There is a quote by Charles Cooley that is – “Today, I’m not what I think I am; I’m not what you think I am; I am what I think you think I am.”

Today every person has made their identity according to what others think about them; what others want them to be like. They want to fit themselves in the box that someone else has designed for them. They live their life according to what someone else has decided for them. 

And it definitely should not be like that. it’s your life and you should be the one who gets to decide what path you choose. Stop seeing yourself from someone else’s perspective. 

It’s a law of nature that what you think for yourself; you’re gonna attract that for yourself. It’s that simple, so think as positive as you can and see what the universe brings to you. 

During the research, it has been found that when 2 persons who want to quit drinking alcohol are asked to have a drink. One of them answered “no thanks, I want to quit alcohol” And the other answered “no thanks, but I don’t drink. 

Both of them were right but the one who answered I don’t drink is more likely to quit drinking than the other one. So it’s all about your attitude towards yourself. What you think for yourself, how you see yourself.

How to be happy even when you don’t have a reason

In a day, how many times do you smile or just be happy without having a reason? What… You don’t?

Do you need a reason to be happy?

Well, I don’t think so. You should be happy without a reason.

You don’t need a specific reason to be happy. Rather, there is not even a reason not to be happy. You don’t need something good happening in your life and obviously, you can’t wait till next Christmas to smile and be happy. Your happiness doesn’t need to be defined. Your happiness is your responsibility and not anyone else’s. Not your partner’s or your friends’; but yours, regardless of any situation. 

You have the right to smile and laugh over the silliest thing possible. Listen… it’s your life and you want it to be lived with joy and happiness. Don’t you?

I know there might be a lot of things happening in your life right now. You might have recently lost someone important in your life or you might be suffering from a financial crisis or you might be suffering from a disease or even worse. 

Good or bad. I want you not to stress about it and relax for a moment. Give yourself a break. Because stress is not going to fix anything, instead it makes you feel more depressed. And it’s scientifically proven that stress makes you fall for diseases. And that is not what you want. Right?

So take a deep breath and relax. Inhale and Exhale and Relax. 

Now think closely and ask yourself, what do you want from your life? I assume the answer to this question for most people is Peace and Happiness. You want to be happy and peaceful in every situation of your life. Am I right?

Alright… maybe not for some people. Some of you might say, I want X amount of dollars. But, your ultimate goal is to be happy after having that X amount of money. Isn’t it?

It’s true. Every single human craves happiness and peace in their life. But the real question is; When you know it, then why aren’t you doing something to get it? What’s stopping you? 

Have you ever searched for the reason why? I know you haven’t. Most people don’t even realize it.

When you are happy from the bottom of your heart, you are the most beautiful being on this beautiful planet. Believe it or not but when you smile, your soul gets all charged up by the positive energy and it attracts the same from the universe. Because you are connected with this mystic universe every moment of your life. What you put in, you are gonna receive it back. That’s what the Law of Attraction says.

Here are 7 actions you should take to be happy, even when you don’t have a reason. The things that you can implement on yourself, without changing and expecting anything from others. Because we believe that a huge change can only be made when you can make a little change within yourself. And remember, YOU HAVE THE POWER to do that.

1. Love yourself

It has been a fact for a very long time that being in love is the most beautiful thing a living being can experience. When you are in love, everything seems beautiful and you just can’t stop smiling. Aren’t you?

The same fact applies when it comes to loving yourself. When you fall in love with yourself, you don’t need anyone by your side and you are enough for yourself. You’re gonna build up that level of confidence to eat alone in a restaurant without hesitating or feeling embraced. You will feel fulfilled being with yourself.

I often do this and it’s my favorite thing to do when it comes to loving myself. You might not believe it, but when I look at myself in a mirror or a glass door while crossing the street, I SMILE. Some people stare at me and give me that weird look. They might be thinking that I’m crazy. But, who cares. 

Some people don’t believe it but a small and little smile has the power to make a huge impact at that very moment. If you have a bad thing happening in your life, I would suggest you forget everything for a moment. Look at yourself in the mirror and give yourself a nice broad smile. Give it a try; believe me; it works.

3. Pamper yourself

Pamper yourself regularly. Do what you love, without worrying about others. You hustle every day on your 9-5 job and some people even have multiple jobs in a single day. And you should not forget to take care of yourself. Nothing should be more important for you than yourself. You should always be in the first place on your priority list. So take good care of yourself. 

Go on that damn vacation which has been pending for years. Yeah… the one that you are planning with your friends/family for a very long time. Or maybe go to a spa and relax for a couple of hours. Or a lunch date with yourself. It can be anything that you love and enjoy doing. Take some time out and pamper yourself.

4. Talk to yourself

Do you talk to yourself? Not in your head but talking out loud. 

Talking to yourself helps you in several ways. It clarifies what’s going inside your head which is gonna help you make better decisions. 

You meet several people in a day. You talk to them, share thoughts and your mind soaks them all. Now what talking to yourself does, is that it filters everything and gives you the best out of all that crap.

Another benefit of talking to yourself is that it gives you a feeling of fulfillment. You feel like you are being listened to without being judged which everyone loves. There is an interesting quote-

Talk to yourself at least once a day. Otherwise, you may miss a meeting with an EXCELLENT person in this World.

Being with yourself contributes to the growth of your self-esteem and self-worth. Have a cup of coffee with no one but yourself, it helps to refresh your mind and thoughts.

6. Don’t worry about others

You don’t need to worry about what others will say or think about you. They are gonna say what they have to say whether you do good or bad. They are even gonna say when you do nothing. So put your hands on your ears and continue doing what you wanna do. 

Do what you love and mean to you. If it means to you and makes you happy, then it has nothing to do with the others. It’s your life and it has to be the way you want it to be. When you stop listening to others and start listening to yourself, it’s gonna make a huge impact on what your life can be. You become limitless. 

7. Live for yourself

If you are a person who tries to make every person in your life HAPPY, then I have these 4 words for you – “STOP IT RIGHT NOWWW!!!” 

You can’t please everyone in your life, it’s a fact. So you better stop doing that. Stop pleasing everyone and just focus on yourself. Do what you love without worrying about others.

Life is short. So don’t complicate it and live to the fullest. Be happy without having a reason. Give a nice smile to yourself and others too. Spread love.

Everybody hates the morning rush but fails every time to organize and manage the time. Sometimes it seems like the clock is running faster than usual in the morning, Isn’t it? 

It’s a saying that ‘If your morning gets ruined, your whole day gets ruined.’ And it’s damn true.

Here are the 5 exercises you can follow to start your morning to be productive all day long.

1. Become the early riser

Getting up early in the morning can be tough for several people & hitting the alarm on snooze probably is the most common habit people have. But it doesn’t gonna help you in any way. Studies have found that the people who get up early in the morning tend to be more proactive than the people who don’t. They tend to perform better and are more productive than the others.

And now if you are thinking that you are not an early riser, and how you can become one. Here’s a tip for you, put your alarm clock at a certain distance that you can reach by only getting up.

2. Make a to-do list

There are several tasks you need to do in the morning. There is a rush going inside your head and you start to feel overwhelmed by thinking about how everything is gonna work. 

For a situation like that, making a to-do list of the tasks you need to perform is a total lifesaver. It gives your mind a clear vision and you become more focused. It also helps to get organized and keep your mind at peace. And when your mind is at peace you start to see everything clearly. And to achieve this, start making a list of the things you need to do in the morning.

You can use apps like Trello, Asana, etc. to make the list.

3. Don’t waste your energy on things that least matter.

When you wake up in the morning, you feel all charged up and are in the ready-to-go mode, because the energy level is at its highest level in the morning and you should not waste this energy on the things that least matter.

Take an example of you thinking for about 10-20 minutes to figure out what to have for breakfast today, then you come up with an idea of an amazing mouth-watering pancake and spend around 30 minutes in the preparation and you finally get to have those pancakes. Your mouth is now blessing you for the treat. Now you are going to get ready to go to your job and think about what to wear and spend around 40 minutes getting dressed. Now if you look closely, you spent about 30-45 minutes on your breakfast and the almost same on getting dressed. You have wasted around one and a half hours and a part of your energy on the things that barely matter. And now at work, you feel tired, exhausted, and don’t feel like working because you don’t have much energy left to do anything.

So, the crux of your everyday story is: Don’t waste your time and energy on the things that barely matter.

Solve this by making a routine for a week and sticking to it. Just sit and make a list for the next coming week, what to have for breakfast which is high in nutritional value and takes minimum time in preparation, and what to wear which takes minimum time in getting ready for work.       

You often see people like Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk dressed as simple as wearing a plain black or grey t-shirt. Why do you think they do that when they can dress like a king every day. They do this to save their time and energy to get wasted on such silly things called getting dressed. 

So, invest your time and energy wisely; in the things that matter and make you more productive and successful in the long run.

4. Prioritise your tasks.

Prioritizing your to-do list helps you to become more productive. Categorize your to-do list using the urgent-important matrix. If you don’t know what the urgent-important matrix is, here I tell you. It is a 2X2 grid matrix that looks like the image below.

What is Urgent-Important matrix?

Now categorize the tasks that are:

1. Urgent and important, and do them immediately

2. Not urgent but important, plan or schedule these tasks

3. Urgent but not important, don’t waste your time and energy on these tasks or hire someone else to do them for you

4. Not urgent not important, eliminate these tasks from your list

By doing so, you can focus on the things that you need to give most of your time and energy and eliminate those which don’t.

You can use apps like Trello, Asana, etc. to make the list.

5. Meditate

Practice Meditation helps to be productive

Sit for about 15-20 minutes to practice meditation or yoga. It helps you connect to your inner soul. Life today is full of rush and hustle and meditation helps your mind to rejuvenate and freshen you up from head to toe. It’s like if you throw a stone in the water, the water gets all shaky and you are not able to see what is at the bottom, but if you let it rest and settle down, you start to see clearly again. The human mind works exactly like that. You give your best when your mind is at rest. So, allow yourself to meditate for at least 15 minutes every day.

You often imagine yourself on a beach with a cool breeze flowing around and you are just chilling with no worries about the future. You have a big house outside the city and the freedom of time, finance, location, and more. In short, you are living your dream life but suddenly you wake up from the daydream and say “Waaw!!!🤩. What a dream I just had. May this dream come true.” But deep inside, you are saying “No, it ain’t gonna happen😓😑. Let’s get back to work.”

Many people consider daydreaming a waste of time. But dreaming about your future is not bad. In fact, for many people, it is the most favorite part when it comes to deciding their future. But it is not as easy as it may sound. It is much more difficult to execute and make it work than to just daydream. But it surely doesn’t mean that you can’t do it. Everything is possible and you know it too.

It feels so right when you say it “Yeah! It’s possible”. Isn’t it? So say it with me… 

‘IT IS POSSIBLE’

But before you start working to achieve your goals, you need to work on your mindset first. Because mindset is the key that can make or break your future. 

You might be working so hard to make everything right. But sometimes, it doesn’t happen the way you wanted. And you just start to question yourself. You doubt yourself and say things like “Am I wasting my time on it?”, “Is this gonna work or not”, “I might stop doing it” and so on. 

You get the idea.

This is what a fixed mindset is. It makes you doubt your self-efficacy and usually, it leads to a dead-end. It makes you feel low and most of the time, you stop making efforts to achieve your goals.

This is why you need to develop a strong mindset to achieve your goals. You can also say it is a growth mindset. A strong mindset helps you achieve your goals and change your life forever, in a fairly positive way. You might not even have any idea how this can make an impact on your life.

Let me make it more clear for you. Every single action you take or make is all because your brain controls you and gives you the commands to take actions. And when you set your brain in a way that it only soaks the positivity, then you can make wonders. When you think positively you do positively. You can make everything possible for you just by shifting your mindset. Literally anything and everything. And this is what a growth mindset is.

You have to train your brain so that you can make it work for you and get the results you want.

Now, how are you gonna train your brain for the results you want? Here’s how…

1. Decide 

Decide your aim to be successful

The very first step to developing a strong mindset is to ‘Decide’. Decide what you want to do or what you want to be in the future. It is as important as knowing the destination before the departure. Because without knowing the destination, you can’t take even a single step ahead. Right? 

Decide the destination where you want to be in the next 5 or 10 years from now. Just close your eyes for a moment and try to find out what makes you feel happy. The goals may differ from person to person. Do you want to make more money, or do you want to learn guitar or piano or do you want to start working out? Just decide and make a commitment.

2. Live it in your dream

You always live your dreams twice, first in your mind and then in reality. When you start to live your dreams in your mind, you are gonna know how it will feel when they come true and this feeling will give you the power to keep going.

But it’s life, things happen and you forget or sometimes the situations are not right to make things work. But it doesn’t mean you should stop. You should not stop chasing your dreams for any reason. 

Solve this by remaking it in your mind to keep them alive in your subconscious. Make a visual in your head that you’ve achieved your goals. Recall it again and again so that it always remains active in your mind and pushes you to take action.

3. Believe in yourself

You can’t achieve it if you can’t believe it. In the way of making your future, you are gonna have many speed breakers coming in your way to stop you.

You are gonna feel frustrated when things are not going well.

You are gonna make mistakes and fail several times.

You are gonna feel like quitting. Believe me, these things are gonna happen. 

But when you believe in yourself these breakers just can’t stop you. You gotta say it to yourself that ‘hey, I’m gonna make it happen. These silly things can’t stop me from doing what I want to do.’ Believing in yourself helps you to get up and give it another try whenever you fail. 

4. Be positive always

According to studies, an average person has around 6,200 thoughts in a single day which is a blend of both positive and negative thoughts. And you know, negative thoughts are the ones who are gonna ruin everything.

And if you think about how to not let them come into your mind. Well, It’s not gonna be like that, negatives always come in your way but you have to learn how to turn them into positive ones. Don’t let them affect you in any way. Instead, figure out a way to turn them positive. You have to train your brain so that you can make the most of it. Otherwise, it will be just a stupid organ in your skull that does nothing but control your body.

5. Practice quality people only

It’s a saying that when you hang out with 3 idiots, you are gonna be the 4th one, and when you hang out with 3 geniuses, you are gonna be the 4th one. And it’s damn true. The quality of people you hang out with decides what your persona is gonna be. How the people around you talk, behave, or act will all gonna make a huge impact on you.

Now it’s up to you, what do you want to be? An idiot or a genius?

Spend time with the people who are gonna add value to your life. The people whom you feel the positivity being around. Their aura, their personality, their vibes everything inspires you to do more. Unlike negative people who are like parasites. They are gonna suck all the positive energy from your soul. So keep a safe distance from them and surround yourself with the good ones.

Our mind is like a juicer machine, in which if you put a fresh orange it gonna give you the fresh orange juice and if you put a rotten one it gonna give you the crap. So decide wisely what you are gonna put inside your brain and receive the best out of it.
